Fundamentals
of Fly Casting is a free, 1 1/2 hour class given monthly at the Mosquito
Creek Outdoors "Outback" Camping, Paddle Sports, and Fishing
Center. This basic fly casting class is designed so the novice, entry
skill level angler who has attended our Introduction to Fly Fishing Class
learns the principles and essentials of the cast as well as good practice
habits. For the accomplished fly fisher this class is a great review of
casting fundamentals. All necessary reference material and equipment is
provided. The class size is limited so please check our event

1 - Essentials & Principles of Fly Casting (45
minutes) |
| The
basic essentials and principles of fly casting are explained,
illustrated and demonstrated. This section is also a valuable
refresher for the most accomplished fly anglers. |

| Section
2- Practical Casting Exercise (45 minutes) |
| Effective
and proper casting techniques are demonstrated. The class is
divided into pairs and the instructors work with each participants
technique. Practice techniques are demonstrated so each person
leaves with the elements to be able to properly practice at
hame. |
