Mosquito
Creek Outdoors along with the Orlando Coastal Angler Magazine and the
Fishing Florida Radio show on 740 AM are excited to bring back the St
John River Shad Derby. This month long event is designed to be fun and
get more families on the water. There great opportunities for shad fishing
all along the St. Johns River and you do not need specialized equipment
or a boat to enjoy fun productive fishing. The Central Florida Shad Run
is one the best opportunities to introduce your children or family to
fishing. The weather is normally very comfortable, the shad are easily
caught and create and impressive fight on light tackle or fly. |

Paul

information about the American Shad, progress of the shad up the St.
