of severe weather alerts, emergency alerts and any Public Alerts
that are issued in your area.
Using S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding)
technology the 74-250C Handheld model, WR100 and WR300 weather radio
models allow you to select only the alerts for the county you wish
to receive. You can program it to receive up to 30 different county
or "FIPS" (Federal Information Processing System) codes
